A precisely cut pattern is one part of a successful installation. The approved components, substrate, setting system and surrounding tile need to work as one assembly.

Confirm scale, orientation and the approved layout against the actual room. Review the perimeter, field-tile grid, veining direction, joint widths and the position of any logo or lettering.
Review the assembly.
Check stone or tile thickness, mesh or other backing, bonding requirements and substrate readiness. Preparation, compatible setting products and any specified membrane are confirmed before installation.
Connect the edges.
Plan the finished height, surrounding cuts, adjacent flooring and movement details. Dry-fitting or checking the assembly helps identify missing pieces and fit issues before setting.

Marble & natural stone
Veining and natural variation are part of the design. Confirm the supplied stone, thickness and backing. Choose compatible setting and care products; acid-sensitive marble can etch.
Granite & porcelain
Review the particular product and finish for the intended use. Thin sections, small pieces and exposed edges need fabrication review. A polished appearance does not establish suitability for wet or busy floors.
Care & protection
Use a compatible neutral cleaner and control tracked-in grit. Sealing, where appropriate, can improve stain resistance; it does not make stone stain-proof. Follow the supplier’s care and maintenance guidance.

Can you install a medallion we have already purchased?
Send the supplier’s drawing, overall dimensions, thickness, backing and installation instructions, plus photographs of the pieces and receiving floor. We review the assembly, condition, access and surrounding tile before accepting the installation. Storage, delivery and responsibility for damaged or missing components should be agreed in advance.
Can you work from a sketch, photograph or CAD drawing?
A sketch or photograph is a useful starting point for discussing the installation. Fabrication needs approved geometry, dimensions, scale, material selections, joints and piece information. CAD or vector files must be checked by the fabricator. Confirm that you have permission to reproduce any artwork, logo or crest.
Which materials can be used for a waterjet medallion or inlay?
Marble, granite and porcelain can suit different designs, but the specific product, thickness, backing, intended use and fabrication method determine feasibility. Natural veining, fragile sections and very small details require particular review. Material approval and any sample cut or mock-up belong in the fabrication scope.
Will the medallion finish flush with the surrounding floor?
That is a planning objective, not an automatic result of precision cutting. We review component thickness, backing, substrate condition, the selected setting system and surrounding tile heights. Preparation or a revised assembly may be required. Retrofitting into an existing floor needs a site assessment before a flush result can be confirmed.
Can a new medallion be inserted into existing tile?
Sometimes. Feasibility depends on the existing tile, its bond and condition, the depth available, nearby joints and the replacement material. Removing part of an existing floor can affect adjacent pieces. A review is needed before confirming the cut-out, protection, preparation, transitions and any additional repair allowance.
How much does waterjet medallion installation cost?
Cost depends on the design and assembly, overall dimensions, piece count, material and backing, substrate preparation, surrounding cuts, access, handling and finishing. Separate design approval, material sourcing, fabrication, delivery, site preparation, installation and curing when planning the programme. Each stage can affect the next. We confirm the installation window after the assembly, site readiness and material requirements are understood; there is no universal production or return-to-use time.
Can you install medallions in commercial lobbies or on walls?
Suitable lobby, reception, retail and hospitality installations can be reviewed with the project team. Confirm traffic, cleaning, finish suitability, phasing and access. Wall work also needs appropriate support, backing, weight and installation details. Evening or weekend work is reviewed against availability and building requirements.
Does natural stone need sealing and special cleaning?
Care depends on the actual stone, grout and finish. Use a compatible neutral cleaner and remove tracked-in grit. Some stones benefit from an impregnating sealer, but it does not make stone stain-proof or protect acid-sensitive marble from etching. Follow the stone supplier’s and care-product manufacturer’s instructions.
